My experience
I have had a happy and fulfilling career in the corporate world, with over 25 years of business experience, operational expertise and systems planning.
Nearly 20 of these years, to the beginning of 2023, were spent in one company, BMG LABTECH Ltd. Helping to grow this company from 6 employees and a turnover of £850k per annum, to 27 employees and a turnover of £8 million, has given me invaluable experience and a unique perspective to bring to my own business.
As Head of Operations and Company Secretary, my day to day responsibilities included not only the finance function but also HR - including pensions and payroll - and all of the back of house requirements for a limited company.

Being hands on and ‘under the bonnet’ across all these areas, means that I am ideally placed to understand what you need to run a successful and efficient business, and how to tackle challenges you may face.

Resourcing your business cost-effectively, both internally and externally, can be one such challenge.
​
One principle I adopt is making the right call on knowing when it’s best to ‘build, buy or borrow’ when it comes to systems, platforms and processes, for example.
My passion
Mixing things up after many years in the corporate world, I’m excited to now be my own boss.

I have set up my own bookkeeping and accounts practice after gaining my qualifications via the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

My ambition is to work with clients on a personal level giving each of you the attention your business deserves. Providing you with an excellent, reliable bookkeeping service as well as a whole extra layer of insightful contributions that will benefit your business on a wider scale.

When I set up my company, I wanted the name to reflect what this business means to me.

There’s the obvious play on words with ‘minted’ and ‘money’, but mint is also such a fresh word and my bookkeeping business is all about shaking up traditional perceptions of bookkeepers with a fresh approach to how these services can be provided.

I want to add value, fresh ideas and insights to your business.

Green is the perfect complement to mint, with its positive connotations of fresh shoots, growth and optimism.
